Nominee reaction: Thomas Langmann

Together with his best picture nom for "The Artist," producer Thomas Langmann follows within the actions of his father Claude Berri, who had been nominated within the same category for 1979's "Tess."All the praise for "The Artist" is a "dream," especially thinking about the first hesitation of executives. When you shop the film, Langmann recalls that whenever he pointed out the project was black-and-whitened and quiet, "The initial question was, 'Well, what's the next project?'
